  • RT @ComeUntoChrist: Begin with a prayer. Start your Bible study with a sincere prayer. You can pray with a specific question in mind, or you can ask for direction as you read or listen to the scriptures. Prayer can help open your mind and put you in a reverent mindset as you begin your Bible study. posted at 17:45:40
  • RT @ComeUntoChrist: Don’t start at the beginning. The Bible is a big book, but you don’t have to start at the beginning. In fact, you can start nearly anywhere. There are plenty of ways you can read the scriptures—you don’t have to feel restricted to reading from cover to cover. posted at 17:45:52
  • RT @ComeUntoChrist: Write down what you learn. Keeping careful notes will help you remember the insights you gather as you study. You can write your thoughts in a journal or notebook, or you can record notes directly in your scriptures. You may even consider recording voice memos as you read. posted at 17:45:54
  • RT @ComeUntoChrist: Don’t get discouraged. Learning from the Bible is a lifelong pursuit, and it’s okay if you have a hard time comprehending the language when you get started. Greater understanding will come with time and consistent study. posted at 17:45:58
  • RT @HollandJeffreyR: In a discussion with Rev. Andrew Teal, I was blessed recently to share my thoughts about gathering light and truth from all nations. We should never pass on an opportunity to learn from another’s testimony of God and religious truth. youtu.be/Jg1qg9wDj2M?t=… posted at 17:46:15
  • RT @BallardMRussell: Stay anchored in your study of the scriptures, and say your prayers every day. Start your day with a prayer, end your day with a prayer, and talk to the Lord as necessary throughout the day. posted at 17:46:30
